Who, What, Where, When, Why?

All students and staff members of Islip High School are welcome to participate.

This is a Reading Olympics. You will challenge yourself by reading (or listening, yes, audiobooks count) to as many books as you possibly can in an 8 week period. (But first you'll choose the 'sport'/category in which you wish to participate. There's a level for everyone!)

Your training (reading) can take place anywhere. However, all activities such as, training exercises, trials, celebrations and medal ceremony will take place in the Olympic Village (aka The Library).

Dec. 9-13:  Advertise: Calling all Athletes to participate!

Dec. 16-20: Trials begin in the Olympic Village (Sign-up)

Dec. 21 - Feb. 4: Training

Feb. 7:  Medal Ceremony/Closing Celebration

*dates and times are subject to change if the need arises

Goal: To increase students' reading for ENJOYMENT.
